General Motors is seeking passionate, driven individuals to join our Customer Care and Aftersales Field Sales Operations Internship Program for Summer 2027.

This 12-week, project-based internship offers students the opportunity to learn about the District Manager, Parts and Service role while gaining hands-on experience supporting dealers and contributing to GM's parts and service business across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze field-level information with regional and Central Office teams.
• Identify trends and key drivers of parts and service performance across national, regional, and local markets.
• Develop practical insights and repeatable reporting tools that support field sales effectiveness and dealer growth.
• Support regional initiatives, campaigns, and dealer engagement strategies that grow the parts, accessories, and service business.
• Participate in field visits and structured shadowing experiences, including planning, dealer meetings, follow-up, and action tracking.
• Translate dealer and customer feedback into clear observations and recommendations for the regional team.
• Prepare concise updates that communicate project progress, risks, and learnings to leaders and program sponsors.
• Complete a capstone project addressing a regional opportunity, from defining the opportunity through analysis and recommendations.
• Present project findings and recommendations to regional and Customer Care and Aftersales leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
