Job summary

Heidelberg Distributing is seeking a driven Route Sales Associate to call on retail accounts, verify product freshness, and rotate stock. You will build lasting customer relationships, meet objectives set by the Area Sales Leader, and merchandise accounts with up-to-date POS materials.

Responsibilities include assisting with displays, maintaining accurate pricing, supporting delivery and route coverage, and addressing retailer questions while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and be 21 years of age.
• Ability to drive to multiple locations and maintain adequate insurance.
• Beverage and consumer product sales experience a plus.
• Must learn specific computer programs; Microsoft Office preferred.
• Very outgoing with strong self-direction.
• Work with minimal supervision, ability to set priorities and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Call on assigned retail accounts and check product freshness and rotation.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and meet preset account objectives.
• Merchandise accounts with current point-of-sale materials.
• Assist Sales Professionals with displays and ensure proper pricing and placement.
• Support route coverage and delivery as needed.
• Respond to retailer questions and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with legal guidelines and company standards.
