Job summary

PMI U.S. is offering an Undergraduate Intern – Field Sales Summer 2027. This 10-week internship, running June 7, 2027 – August 13, 2027, provides hands-on experience in field sales and commercial operations across an assigned territory.

You will ride along with Territory Sales Managers, analyze market and sales data, and contribute to projects that support growth and retailer engagement while developing leadership and business insights.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using data to generate business insights.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, student organizations, athletics, work experience, or community involvement.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Interest in sales, consumer products, business development, or commercial strategy.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ride-alongs with Territory Sales Managers to observe retail execution and customer engagement.
• Analyze sales, market, and territory data to identify business opportunities and trends.
• Support territory performance reviews and develop recommendations to improve results.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Consumer Experience, and Business Development teams.
• Conduct competitive and market research.
• Assist with retail activation and merchandising initiatives.
• Support projects focused on improving commercial effectiveness and operational efficiency.
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders at the conclusion of the internship.
