Job summary

Spectrum is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to connect with community members by face-to-face interactions, expanding access to high-speed data and communication solutions. You will receive a base salary plus incentives, with total compensation potentially exceeding $100,000 annually, and you can enjoy Spectrum services as an employee benefit.

This role requires about 90% outdoor work, travel to assigned territories, and occasional evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
• English reading, writing, speaking and comprehension.
• Engaging interpersonal skills.
• Needs-based sales questioning and pitching ability.
• Strong personal drive to succeed in sales.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories and facilities.
• Familiarity with computer OS, software, and consumer devices.
• Will need to work evenings and weekends.
• Independent work style with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new residential customers by visiting assigned leads and presenting Spectrum’s offerings.
• Conduct needs analyses to tailor product recommendations.
• Present sales proposals aligning with customer needs and Spectrum solutions.
• Complete sales documentation including dispositioning, order entry and reporting.
• Participate in sales meetings and training to support team goals.
• Achieve monthly targets across high-speed data, mobile, landline and video services.
• Monitor competitors’ activities and report findings to management.
