Job summary

Cypress Engine Accessories is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow parts, service and project sales in the Midwest territory, with focus on natural gas compression and power generation. Based in Beatrice, Nebraska, the role requires regular field visits, relationship-building, and the ability to identify opportunities while coordinating with Inside Sales and technical teams to deliver solutions.

Travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 1 year of B2B outside sales experience within an industrial or related market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an assigned sales territory with responsibility for growing parts, service, and project sales.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers through regular visits, communication, follow-up, and responsive support.
• Prospect for and develop new customers, accounts, and business opportunities throughout the territory.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate parts, products, service, and technical solutions for their equipment and applications.
• Develop opportunities primarily within the Natural Gas Compression/Midstream market, while supporting growth within Power Generation and other applicable industrial markets.
• Maintain a consistent presence in the territory by visiting customer offices, compressor stations, plants, project sites, and other facilities as appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with Inside Sales team to prepare quotes, process orders, coordinate requests, and provide timely follow-up.
• Identify service opportunities, including troubleshooting, installations, upgrades, overhauls, maintenance, inspections, and other field-service needs.
