Job summary

Global Compression Services is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to highlight the advantages of our products and services for customers in the natural gas compression industry. You will develop relationships, support outside sales, and manage assigned accounts while driving quotes and sales orders.

The role emphasizes customer service, follow-up on leads, and meeting sales goals under leadership direction. Travel up to 10% may be required. This is a full-time position based in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training.
• Successful completion of GCS Inside Sales training program.
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work professionally with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates urgency, attention to detail and a positive attitude in every task performed.
• Develops meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
• Works with outside sales to service external customers.
• Manages assigned house accounts.
• Follows up on cold and warm leads to advance the sales process.
• Sets and meets sales goals and objectives set by leadership.
• Discusses use and features of various parts and services.
• Prepares quotes for external customers and outside sales.
• Completes sales orders for external customers and outside sales.
• Advises customers on substitutions when replacements arent available.
• Receives and fills telephone orders for parts.
• Administers shop repair jobs and parts requirements.
• Maintains warranty and factory repairs with vendors.
• Responsible for after-hours callout duty.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
