Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a field-based sales professional to promote instrument calibration, preventive maintenance and repair services within an assigned territory.

You will build and sustain customer relationships, negotiate terms, and provide data-driven recommendations to management and clients. This role requires travel up to 30% and a strong background in B2B sales and chromatography knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, chemistry, operations, or related field.
• 3-5 years of customer support experience with complex programs or operations.
• Travel overnight up to 30% as needed.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Increases market share through new business growth and wallet share.
• Visits customer establishments to evaluate needs and promote services.
• Negotiates prices or terms of sales or service agreements; quotes terms.
• Contacts new or existing customers to discuss service fit.
• Provides analysis and counsel on sales policies and practices.
• Develops recommendations on service features to meet needs.
• Coordinates resources and responses to customer feedback.
• Analyzes sales data to identify trends and presents proposals.
• Ensures accuracy of sales databases and reports; resolves discrepancies.
• Participates in developing project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Interprets policies and supports compliance. Active team member.
