Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will have primary responsibility for driving profitable sales growth within an assigned established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Learn the full line of Tax & Accounting products including features, benefits, pricing, intended use, value proposition, and competitive position through training programs and self-study.
  • Implement the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, stay informed of sales quotas, and manage your sales pipeline.
  • Manage your assigned account list by researching contact information, building calling lists, making calls, and maintaining CRM data.
  • Promote new account development, conduct prospecting calls, participate in industry events, and conduct presentations to generate interest.
  • Grow existing customer business by maintaining client relationships and understanding their needs.
  • Contribute to product development by identifying gaps and working with Product Managers.
  • Increase market share by identifying opportunities within target accounts and engaging with decision-makers.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities efficiently, collaborating with colleagues and managing conflicts.
  • Develop an annual business plan, maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, and participate in regular reporting.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of software/SaaS field sales experience without a degree.

Experience: 5+ years in B2B sales, experience with software/SaaS, developing prospect lists, meeting/exceeding quotas, and proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce.

Skills & Abilities: Consultative sales approach, ability to work independently, experience in a matrixed organization, awards for sales performance, formal sales training, flexibility in scheduling, and facilitation skills.

Travel: Up to 30% annually for client visits and events.

Compensation

Target salary range varies by state, approximately $95,560 - $133,750.
