Responsibilities

As a Field Sales Executive for Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting, you will drive profitable sales growth within an established account base of CPA firms. You will report to the Divisional Manager, Field Sales. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Learn and understand the full line of Tax & Accounting products, including features, benefits, pricing, value proposition, and competitive positioning. Attend training and complete all self-study activities within the prescribed timeline.
  • Implement the sales process for Tax & Accounting products, stay informed of sales quotas, and meet targets.
  • Manage your assigned account list, build a sales pipeline, research contact information, and maintain CRM data (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships through prospecting, meetings, industry events, and presentations.
  • Identify gaps in current products and work with Product Managers to address client needs and translate unmet requirements into product specifications.
  • Increase TAA market share by identifying opportunities and engaging at management and executive levels.
  • Plan and schedule sales activities efficiently, collaborating with colleagues and managing conflicts.
  • Develop an annual business plan, maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, and participate in regular reporting and communication.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field; or 6+ years of software/SaaS sales experience without a degree.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales, with experience in software/SaaS, prospecting, exceeding quotas, business planning, and CRM proficiency.

Skills & Certifications: Consultative sales approach, ability to work independently, experience in a matrix organization, awards for sales performance, formal sales training, flexible schedule, facilitation skills.

Travel

Up to 30% annually for client visits, events, and trade shows.

Compensation

Target salary range for CA, CT, CO, DC, HI, IL, MD, MN, NY, RI, WA: $95,560 - $133,750
