Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a Field Sales Engineer to lead regional sales in Austin, TX. You will promote high-speed interconnect solutions, work with engineering teams to design-in new products, and drive growth across strategic accounts.

The role requires a technical background, 5+ years in field sales or applications, and a willingness to travel. You will collaborate with Field Applications Engineering and business units to meet revenue targets and expand market presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or Engineering with business/marketing aptitude.
• 5+ years field sales and applications experience in interconnect or related components.
• Knowledge of interconnect solutions industry.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales leadership and work with Field Applications Engineer and Business Units.
• Promote and sell Amphenol products with established customers and new prospects.
• Identify interconnect opportunities and work with customer engineering teams to design in new products.
• Develop and implement sales plan and growth strategy for territory and customers.
• Meet and exceed sales quota via new design wins and channel management.
• Motivate customers to increase product content on the design.
• Support technical aspects of the sales cycle and provide marketing support.
• Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
• Track orders and revenue by customer.
• Build rapport and supply information on samples, delivery, drawings, and specs.
• Develop understanding of market and competition; stay informed on new products.
• Travel required.
