Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join the sales team. You will interface with customers and internal teams to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle, provide product marketing support, and deliver compelling presentations on interconnect solutions.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 5 years of experience in product marketing and sales support.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins.
Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Interface with customers and internal product development, product marketing, and sales teams.
Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle as the engineering resource on the sales team.
Provide technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
Help devise strategies to differentiate products from competitors.
Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
Some travel will be required.
