Job summary

Yamazen Inc. is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to prospect and close new business in a protected Texas territory including Lewisville. You will develop client relationships and present machine tool solutions to customers in various industries.

The role requires strong presentation and negotiation skills, travel within the territory, and the ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through to proposal and closing. Competitive base pay plus commissions is offered.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering or Business or equivalent experience.
• Proven outside sales experience with manufactured equipment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Travel within assigned territory to meet customers and close deals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers.
• Meet or exceed annual sales targets within the territory and accounts.
• Regular travel to perform consultations, determine needs and provide estimates/proposals.
• Involve in turnkey projects, demonstrations and related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines.
• Utilize Salesforce.com for prospecting and customer activities.
