Job summary

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking a hands-on, multidisciplinary Engineer to support our BoltSense technology and deliver real-time solutions to industrial customers.

This role blends mechanical engineering, technical field service, and technical sales, offering growth in a dynamic, globally connected environment. The position involves learning bolting fundamentals, on-site support, and collaboration with customers to implement bolting solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on industry experience, preferably in mining or mechanical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• U.S. Passport or ability to obtain one; ability to travel internationally.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Interest or experience in technical sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Learn and apply bolting fundamentals to solve real-world challenges.
• Provide on-site support (3–5% – 50%) for installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with customers to develop and implement bolting solutions.
• Represent the company at trade shows and customer sites globally.
• Communicate technical insights clearly to end users and OEMs.
• Identify and implement process improvements in field and manufacturing environments.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and process manuals.
• Assist in training a growing team of site support technicians.
• Off-hour availability via phone for critical customer support if needed.
