Job summary

The Home Depot is hiring a Sales Consultant to drive exterior and interior product sales through outside visits to customer homes and at trade shows.

You will travel to client homes, assess needs, tailor product recommendations, develop quotes, present financing options, and complete contracts, while building relationships with store teams and attending industry events.

This role requires strong communication, flexibility to travel, and comfort with technology and paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• 1+ years of previous related work experience.
• Prior in-home or virtual sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes to make sales calls and present tailored product recommendations.
• Develop and negotiate customized price quotes and present financing options.
• Complete required sales contracts and paperwork.
• Proactively seek new customers inside assigned stores and at events.
• Educate store associates on HDIS offerings and maintain relationships with store personnel.
