Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant to promote exterior and interior products and services. The role mainly involves outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows, with travel away from a fixed office environment.

You will assess customer needs, deliver tailored quotes, explain warranties and financing, complete contracts, and measure installations, while building store relationships and participating in events to grow the pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18+ and legal right to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of related sales experience.
• Preferred in-home or virtual sales and home-improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for outside sales visits and demonstrations.
• Assess customer needs and prepare tailored product recommendations and price quotes.
• Present warranty and financing options; complete sales contracts and paperwork.
• Develop relationships with store management and participate in events to generate leads.
