Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Home Services Sales Consultant to sell exterior and interior products to customers. The role emphasizes outside sales visits to customer homes and trade shows, with substantial travel away from an office.

You will assess customer needs, tailor product recommendations, develop price quotes, present financing options, and complete contracts and measurements to ensure installation specs are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of related work experience.
• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through high school or equivalent.
• Experience in home improvement or in-home/virtual sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customers' homes for outside sales visits and trade shows.
• Develop and negotiate customized price quotes and present warranty/financing options.
• Complete required sales contracts and paperwork; take measurements to meet installation specs.
• Prospect for new customers inside assigned THD stores and at industry events.
