Job summary

Alta Equipment Group is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to cover the Lansing Service territory. The account rep will report to the Director of Operations and will drive profitable revenue in Aftermarket Sales through field-based B2B sales calls.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of forklifts or construction equipment, strong customer service and communication skills, and a self-motivated attitude. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of forklifts and/or construction equipment is a plus, with strong sales acumen and proven achievement considered.

Responsibilities

• Daily use of our customer relationship management system.
• Quoting and selling repairs, preventative maintenance and maintenance contracts, parts and rental.
• Territory development focusing on customer acquisition and retention.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager to develop new accounts.
• Generate leads for new equipment and aftermarket in coordination with sales.
