Job summary

Helton Electric, a IMMEC company, is seeking a Field Safety & Training Assistant to support safety programs, data management and field crew oversight. You will help maintain records, support incident investigations and ensure field safety through observations and site inspections.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable with data entry and computer systems, and able to work in a field-based environment with knowledge of utility distribution policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of administrative, safety, training or compliance experience preferred, or 3+ years in utility line work.
• Experience using databases or tracking systems (Quickbase, ISN, Avetta or similar).
• Strong written and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety training and new hire orientation sessions.
• Maintain training records, certifications and documentation.
• Assist with incident investigations and report preparation.
• Monitor PPE inventory and manage equipment documentation.
• Support field crew safety inspections and procedures.
