Wiregrass Construction Company is seeking a Safety Specialist to support safety, health, and environmental initiatives across the assigned area. The role focuses on field inspections, hazard assessments, and safety training, with travel opportunities across the region.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2–3 years of safety experience, and strong organizational skills. A 4-year safety or engineering degree is preferred, with OSHA 29 CFR (optional) and MSHA 30 CFR training

• 4-year degree in safety or engineering preferred.
• OSHA 29 CFR Certificate (optional). MSHA 30 CFR trained.

Responsibilities

• Field inspections to support safe behaviors and operations.
• Perform hazard assessments and support implemented solutions.

• Travel regionally to support local teams.
• Verify and assist with crew-level job task training.
