Job summary

Phillips, Inc. is seeking a Safety Specialist to work primarily in the field with travel to multiple project sites. You will support regional teams, ensure compliance with safety protocols, conduct inspections, and facilitate training.

Required are a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, ASP or GSP certification, and 1 year of construction safety experience or two internships. Proficiency in MS Office is necessary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field required.
• ASP or GSP certification required.
• Minimum one year construction safety experience or two internships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular walk-through inspections of construction sites to ensure safety standards.
• Identify hazardous conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
• Prepare safety documentation and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with Regional Safety Manager and teams to plan inspections.
• Assist investigations of injuries and property damage.
• Lead onboarding and safety training for new hires and ongoing training.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable safety regulations.
