Job summary

Wilson Construction Company is seeking a Field Safety Coordinator based out of Canby with extensive travel from Northern California to the Pacific Northwest. The role ensures on-site compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and reports to the Director of Safety and Training.

You will conduct safety orientations, administer training and safety programs, and perform site audits across multiple job sites. A strong knowledge of OSHA rules and field safety practice is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the power line industry or journeyman lineman certification.
• Working knowledge of state and federal OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety orientations for new and returning employees.
• Coordinate drug testing for new hires.
• Administer fall protection program and fit testing.
• Administer employee safety training and records.
• Perform safety inspections/audits for jobsites and file reports.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses and file required reports.
• Maintain injury/illness prevention program knowledge and compliance.
