Job summary

GreenArrow is seeking a Safety Coordinator/Specialist to partner with the VP of Safety, implement safety policies, and ensure regulatory compliance across our electrical construction projects. You will collaborate with Operations, Superintendents, and Lead Foremen to foster a safety-first culture on multiple job sites.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in field safety, 3+ years in electrical construction, CHST eligibility, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field safety experience required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction safety practices.
• Proficient in OSHA construction standards and safety reporting.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to minimize workplace injuries and incidents.
• Conduct field audits and safety inspections across job sites.
• Coach field personnel on safety findings and best practices.
• Review projects to ensure safety requirements are met.
• Provide guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
• Ensure safety equipment inspections and replacements as needed.
• Draft reports and safety data analyses highlighting risks.
• Maintain safety policies and procedures; oversee incident reporting.
• Collaborate with customer representatives during audits and inspections.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to employees.
• Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare safety plans and written communications.
• Report workers' compensation incidents to the third-party administrator.
• Facilitate new-hire safety orientation and ensure compliance readiness.
