Hulcher Services is seeking a motivated and success-driven Field Safety Specialist. You will play a vital role in the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive safety program.

What You'll Do:
- Provide assistance for the study, development, and application of training related to your region of responsibility and those reporting to this position.
- Investigate health, safety, and environmental incidents, including DOT-related incidents, prepare reports of findings, and recommend corrective actions to management.
- Ensure field operations comply with OSHA, FRA, and other health and safety regulatory agencies.
- Audit facilities to detect existing or potential safety and health hazards and recommend corrective or preventative measures.
- Conduct site surveys to determine safe exposure limits to materials or conditions such as temperatures, noise, dust, fumes, vapors, mists, gases, and solvents.
- Recommend, implement, and monitor control measures for exposure to hazardous materials or conditions.
- Provide technical guidance to management on occupational health & safety concerns, including the correct use of personal protective equipment and respiratory protection.
- Contribute to the development of new training curricula in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain safety files and records.

Requirements:
What You Bring:
- Accuracy in record keeping is critical for the efficient performance of this position.
- Associate degree in safety or a related discipline, or a bachelor’s degree in safety or a related discipline.
Additional qualifications include:
- Three (3) years of related field operations, instructor, or similar experience.
- Five (5) years of safety-related work experience.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations.
