Job summary

Airgas Safety, Inc. in Coppell, TX is seeking a Field Safety Sales Specialist to drive sales and profitability across the Mid South Region. You will manage key accounts, develop regional sales plans, and pursue new business while complying with corporate policies and safety regulations.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Bachelor’s degree is preferred; OSHA 30/QSSP is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 3–5 years of outside sales experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
• Ability to travel overnight within the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• QSSP/OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety products and services is desirable.
• Proven change management and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel, SAP, Salesforce, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed regional sales and profitability objectives.
• Sell Airgas products to customer base and grow accounts.
• Ensure compliance with Code of Conduct and applicable regulations.
• Develop and execute regional sales and marketing plans.
• Identify and pursue new and competitive accounts for profit growth.
• Monitor regional sales goals and gross margins; adjust strategies as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with internal departments regarding customers.
• Travel within assigned territory to call on customers.
• Identify prospective customers and inform managers of opportunities.
• Analyze market data to identify new customers and pricing strategies.
