Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Safety Specialist to serve as a field-based safety partner for operations, providing practical safety and health support across locations. You will work with site leadership to identify risk and strengthen compliance, enabling safe day-to-day execution.

You will travel regularly to assigned sites, build relationships with employees and leaders, coach safe practices, and develop or improve safety programs in line with OSHA/MSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant safety/operational experience may substitute.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA requirements; DOT/Part 46/48 experience preferred.
• Able to build relationships, influence leaders, coach employees, and solve problems collaboratively.
• Experience with safety auditing and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Serves as safety advisor and coach to operational leaders, reinforcing safety ownership.
• Conducts regular site visits, observes work, and coaches safe practices.
• Develops and maintains safety programs, training, and processes per OSHA/MSHA.
• Conducts audits, inspections, and assessments with corrective actions.
• Supports incident investigations, medical coordination, and workers’ compensation activities.
• Analyzes safety data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supports regulatory inspections and safety documentation.
• Coaches leaders on safety leadership and risk management.
• Travels to locations to provide hands-on support.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
