Job summary

Hirebridge LLC is seeking a Safety Specialist to develop and implement health and safety plans, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with MSHA and other regulations. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics and Quality to implement practical safety solutions.

The role includes conducting training, incidents investigation, leading safety program execution, and maintaining records. Strong communication and leadership on site are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of safety principles and regulatory compliance; certifications may be pursued.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory auditing and inspection processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with accurate data entry; communicates effectively.
• Reliable and able to report to the designated work site; pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Plans and maintains comprehensive safety programs in compliance with rules and MSHA regulations.
• Conducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and drive improvements.
• Collaborates with management during audits and maintains safety logs and documentation.
• Serves as primary contact for injury and incident reporting and case management.
• Records incidents in SMS and manages workers’ compensation claims.
• Develops emergency response plans and safety SOPs for site.
• Provides on-site leadership and mentorship to teams and contractors.
• Analyzes safety data to identify trends and drive improvements.
