Job summary

Royal Electric is seeking a Field Safety Manager to lead safety on construction sites, coordinating with foremen, crews and clients to ensure OSHA compliance. This exempt, on-site role requires strong communication and travel to various job sites.

You will develop site safety plans, conduct trainings, investigate incidents, and promote a safety-first culture across multiple states. 5+ years in construction safety and CHST or OSHA Outreach certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• CHST preferred.
• OSHA Construction Outreach Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform field visits at jobsites; assess and monitor safe practices and assist in fostering safety culture.
• Coach field supervision and crews on safe practices.
• Develop job specific safety plans, assist foreman/superintendent in the development of job hazard analysis.
• Review project specs and subcontracts to identify project specific safety obligations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and project safety representatives.
• Ensure documentation and execution of safety policies; program reporting, execution of JHA, Toolbox Talks, Daily Safety Meetings, etc.
• Conduct safety-related training; Confined Space, Fall Protection, Excavation, Forklift, NFPA 70E, etc.
• Conduct incident investigation, ensure corrective actions/lessons learned are identified and completed.
