Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Safety Specialist to support projects across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding areas. The role promotes a strong safety culture, ensures OSHA compliance, conducts site inspections, and partners with field leadership to maintain safe and productive job sites.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction safety, heavy civil experience, OSHA 30, and additional certifications such as CHST or CSP are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience, preferably in heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and leadership.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• CHST, SMS, CSP or related certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on heavy civil construction projects such as highways, bridges, underground utilities, earthwork, site development, or related infrastructure projects. This individual will play a key role in identifying hazards, training employees, investigating incidents, and driving continuous improvement across multiple project locations.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between projects throughout the DFW area.
