Job summary

Royal Engineers and Consultants, LLC seeks a Safety Manager to lead the site safety program on a data center construction project. The role manages site-specific safety plans, inspections, and cross-trade compliance on a large, multi-contractor site in North Louisiana, with travel to Virginia and Corpus Christi as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of quality control experience on commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of inspection and test plan development and nonconformance management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Experience with quality documentation and reporting software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the site-specific safety plan and hazard analyses.
• Conduct daily and weekly site safety inspections and track corrective actions.
• Review subcontractor safety plans and permits for high-risk activities.
• Lead new-hire safety orientation and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Maintain safety records, training certifications, and OSHA logs.
• Coordinate emergency action plans and lead drills.
