Job summary

VoltaGrid LLC is seeking a Field Safety Manager to provide onsite health, safety, and environmental support during construction and operation of its large microgrid project in San Antonio, TX. The role requires expertise in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 to ensure a safe transition from construction through commissioning into long-term operations.

The Senior Safety Manager will lead safety initiatives, conduct root cause analyses, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote a proactive safety culture

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HSSEQ management experience.
• Construction and operational safety experience in industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive safety culture on the project site.
• Develop safety performance metrics and targets.
• Review and approve safety plans and JHAs.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for OSHA compliance.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
