The role emphasizes hazard identification, incident investigations, and safety training, with a focus on OSHA/MSHA/EPA standards and effective communication with site teams. A valid license and strong field experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of field safety experience (construction).
• Professional safety certification or associate's degree desired.
• Candidate may be required to pass a criminal background check based on location requirements.
• Must successfully pass a background check and drug test.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Observe job performance and identify hazards to ensure OSHA/MSHA/EPA compliance and immediate corrective actions.
• Identify conditions that could cause accidents and coordinate with management to eliminate risks.
• Participate in post-accident investigations and assist with documentation.
• Conduct safety training for employees and new-hire orientation.
• Perform site visits weekly to audit hazards and promote safe work practices.
• Maintain safety documentation, SDS sheets, and operating procedures.
