Job summary

LVI Associates seeks an experienced Safety Manager to oversee field safety across active construction projects. You will plan, implement, and manage comprehensive safety programs ensuring OSHA compliance and owner requirements.

Lead inspections, incident investigations, training, and hazard mitigation while collaborating with project teams and leadership to protect workers and reduce risk. The role emphasizes data-driven safety improvements and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management.
• Experience with site audits, safety inspections, and incident investigations.
• Ability to work independently with project teams and leadership.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with claims management and safety documentation preferred.
• Ability to conduct training, orientations, audits, and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and audits for compliance.
• Identify hazards, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare and distribute safety reports on hazards and trends.
• Lead safety trainings, new hire orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Monitor subcontractor safety performance and corrective actions.
• Participate in project planning to develop safety strategies.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, prevent recurrence.
• Monitor return-to-work programs and injury management.
• Track site safety incentive programs and data trends.
• Support insurance audits with accurate safety documentation.
• Assist with training of field personnel on safety topics.
