Job summary

CoAd seeks a Safety Consultant to provide risk management, safety and workers’ compensation support for clients. You will perform field inspections, write safety recommendations, and educate client employers on safe work procedures to reduce exposures and losses.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field, 2+ years in workers’ compensation loss control or occupational safety, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in safety or risk management.
• Two years’ experience in workers’ compensation loss control or occupational safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform field visits to workplaces to conduct safety consultations and provide safety information.
• Provide written safety recommendations and follow up on implementation.
• Prepare loss control reports for internal risk management.
• Ensure accurate worker classifications per carrier requirements.
• Review prospective clients against exposure guidelines.
• Identify high-risk clients and help reduce losses.
• Support Sales and Service teams with risk management activities.
• Conduct accident investigations timely to reduce recurrence.
• Coordinate metrics reporting.
