Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Senior Safety Loss Control Consultant to provide risk management and safety services to clients, focusing on workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto losses.

You will assess facilities, develop loss-control plans, and collaborate with claims and analytics teams to reduce risk. Responsibilities include conducting safety assessments, preparing COPE reports, and delivering trainings and seminars.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 7 years of insurance industry experience.
• PE or CSP designation is desirable but not required.
• Knowledge of all-risk property loss control and field surveys.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• HPR experience and FM Global engineering background preferred.
• Familiar with NFPA, FM Global standards; OSHA knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety assessments at customer facilities across sectors.
• Recommend and implement safety and loss control programs.
• Collaborate with claims and analytics teams to analyze losses.
• Manage insurer loss control relationships and coordinate visits.
• Develop COPE reports and loss control recommendations.
• Prepare customers for insurer property inspections.
• Deliver trainings, webinars, and seminars on safety topics.
