Job summary

Yoh is hiring a Safety Representative to support Applied Materials at the TSMC Phoenix facility. This hands-on role involves daily field safety leadership, audits, hazard identification, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and site standards.

You will coach staff, review permits, and actively stop unsafe work in a high-tech manufacturing environment. The position requires 5+ years in related industrial settings, OSHA 30 certification, and extensive cleanroom exposure, with on-site work at a

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, semiconductor, construction, or related environments.
• OSHA 30‑Hour Certification (Construction or General Industry) with proof of completion.
• Strong hazard recognition and risk mitigation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable spending 6+ hours per day in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a strong daily field presence within the fab.
• Performing safety audits and inspections.
• Identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA, TSMC, and Applied Materials safety standards.
• Reviewing work permits, PPE requirements, and safe work procedures.
• Supporting safe execution of high‑risk work activities.
• Coaching employees and subcontractors on safe work practices.
• Documenting findings and communicating safety concerns to leadership.
• Stopping work when unsafe conditions or behaviors are observed.
• Participating in daily engineering team pass‑down meetings.
