Job summary

TSMC is seeking ISEP Safety Engineers for our onsite Phoenix facility to develop and sustain Environmental, Safety, and Health systems. This role focuses on implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, shaping the ESH culture, and guiding regulatory compliance across the fab environment.

You will provide technical guidance, train staff and contractors, perform hazard assessments, and help ensure responsible waste management while supporting manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with engineering or science background preferred.
• 3–5+ years experience in environmental or safety engineering and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to resolve ESH issues.
• Knowledge of current safety and loss control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ISO 14001 Environmental Protection Management System implementation and ISO 45001 OH&S system.
• Establish and enhance the ESH culture at the TSMC AZ Fab and ensure compliance with ESH regulations.
• Provide technical, regulatory, and process guidance on ESH issues.
• Develop contractor ESH management programs and facilitate ESH training for employees and contractors.
• Conduct Job Hazard Assessments, workplace evaluations, and waste management inspections.
