Job summary
Trivent Safety Consulting seeks an experienced Level 2 Site Safety Manager for a commercial construction project in Calvert, Alabama. You will oversee daily safety operations, enforce OSHA compliance, and lead safety briefings with project teams and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction safety, OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive proactive hazard prevention on a fast-paced site.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of construction safety experience.
- Strong commercial construction background preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification required
- OSHA 510 Certification required
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environments
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards and field safety practices
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and daily safety briefings
- Identify, document, and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors; assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Work closely with field supervision and project management teams
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and jobsite safety performance
- Support a culture of accountability and proactive hazard prevention
