Job summary

Trivent Safety Consulting is seeking an experienced Site Safety professional for a commercial construction project in Las Lunas, NM. The role focuses on overseeing daily field safety operations, OSHA compliance, and enforcing site procedures to foster a proactive safety culture.

The ideal candidate will be highly visible in the field, with a strong construction background, able to communicate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and management on a swing shift schedule

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 Certification required
• CHST or STSC or similar certification preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environments
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and field safety practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and daily safety briefings
• Identify, document, and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Work closely with field supervision and project management teams
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and jobsite safety performance
• Support a culture of accountability and proactive hazard prevention
