Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Site Safety Manager for a long-term data center construction project in Lebanon, Indiana. This 1099 contractor role provides hands-on field safety oversight, with typical schedule around 6:00-7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, about 50 hours per week, and weekly pay.

Compensation includes $49/hr, overtime, $125/day per diem for non-local candidates, and a $150/month completion bonus. You will inspect sites, enforce OSHA standards, and partner with project leadership to keep

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience on active job sites.
• Strong field safety presence and hazard recognition.
• Experience conducting site inspections and safety observations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with contractors, supervision, and project leadership.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for active construction operations.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Verify equipment inspection processes are being completed and documented.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Review safety compliance throughout multiple project work areas.
• Reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel and subcontractors.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management and supervision.
• Assist with safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Participate in incident response and investigations as necessary.
• Monitor changing site conditions and emerging project risks.
• Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the jobsite.
