Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator for a data center project in Asheville, OH. You will provide daily field safety oversight, ensuring OSHA compliance, and maintaining a strong field presence on active sites.

The role requires OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and 5+ years of construction safety experience, with coordination of subcontractors and safety plans. This 1099 contractor position offers weekly pay and a completion bonus schedule.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required.
• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience preferred.
• Experience conducting field audits, inspections, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards.
• Ability to maintain a highly visible field presence on active construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily field safety oversight for data center construction activities.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout active work areas.
• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, observations, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor subcontractor work activities and ongoing construction operations.
• Review JHAs, AHAs, permits, and pre-task plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and coordinate timely corrective actions.
• Provide field coaching and reinforce safe work practices with craft personnel.
• Coordinate safety activities with project management, supervision, and subcontractors.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
• Maintain required safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
