Job summary

VoltaGrid is seeking a Field Safety Supervisor in Abilene, Texas, responsible for onsite health and safety support during the operational phase of their microgrid project. This role demands expertise in OSHA standards to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operations.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Health and Safety management, a relevant degree, and possibly certifications like OHST. You will lead safety initiatives, train personnel, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Health and Safety management systems or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in construction and operational safety, preferably in industrial, energy infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive safety culture for the project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis efforts as required.
