Job summary

VoltaGrid, LLC seeks a Field Safety Manager to oversee onsite health, safety, and environmental efforts during construction and operations of a large microgrid project in San Antonio, TX. The role requires expertise in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and 1910 to ensure seamless construction-to-operations safety.

The Senior Safety Manager will lead safety initiatives, investigations, and program development while coordinating with site teams, contractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years in HSSEQ management, construction and operations safety experience preferred.
• Proficiency with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 & 1910 and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish positive safety culture for the project site.
• Develop safety metrics and targets for the project.
• Review and approve safety plans, JHAs, and contractor safety programs.
• Conduct site inspections and audits for OSHA compliance.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions.
