Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors Inc seeks a Project Safety Professional for our Phoenix Fabrication Facility. This field-based role partners with project management and field crews to uphold safety standards, plan safely for fast-paced work, and reinforce Harder’s safety expectations.

Expect early start times, weekends, and potential shift coverage based on project needs. You will work to identify hazards, support incident prevention, and lead safety training and pre-task planning efforts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 Construction Certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support application of construction safety standards and project safety requirements.
• Collaborate with project team and field supervision to ensure safe work planning.
• Conduct field observations, inspections, and coaching to prevent incidents.
• Assist with incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Assist with safety orientations, toolbox talks, and site-specific training.
• Maintain safety documentation, inspections, and training records.
• Identify hazards and communicate corrective actions clearly.
