The Spear Group is seeking an experienced Construction Safety / CQV Field Representative to support pharma manufacturing capital projects on the owner/partner side in NJ. Qualifications

• 6+ years of construction safety experience with contractor oversight.
• OSHA 510 certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/state/local construction safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Implement owner/partner safety programs aligned with regulatory standards.
• Provide visible field safety oversight of contractors and project teams.
• Coach leaders and craft personnel to strengthen hazard recognition and risk controls.
• Review high-risk work plans, permits, JSAs, SPAs for clear hazards and controls.
• Conduct field inspections and safety walks; oversee corrective actions.
• Support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, CAPA, and closure tracking.
• Monitor safety performance metrics and contractor safety outcomes.
• Support onboarding, meetings, audits, and safety reviews across CQV activities.
