Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience on active projects.
• Experience on pharmaceutical construction is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Construction Standards.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (within past five years).
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for field personnel.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic safety management systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary safety resource for the General Contractor, subcontractors, and project team.
• Conduct daily site walks, safety inspections, audits, and observations.
• Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and verify resolution.
• Lead Pre-Task Planning, JSAs, permit programs, and incident investigations.
• Deliver new hire orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training.
• Coach supervisors and craft personnel on OSHA regulations and safe practices.
• Foster a proactive safety culture and coordinate with project leadership.
• Maintain inspection reports, safety documentation, and project metrics.
