Job summary

ValSource Inc. is seeking a Field Safety Representative for a full-time position at our client’s site in Rahway, NJ.

The role supports a long-term Safety Leadership Program in pharmaceutical and biotech environments, focusing on safety culture and personnel well-being. You will oversee field safety during construction-to-CQV transitions, review high-risk work plans, coach site teams, conduct inspections, and participate in incident investigations and CAPA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 510 required; OSHA 500 preferred
• Bachelor's degree in safety, construction management, engineering or related field preferred
• Pharmaceutical/regulated construction experience desirable
• Ability to coach, influence, and communicate with craft personnel and leadership
• Strong organizational and hazard-recognition skills

Responsibilities

• Lead JSA/SPA program on assigned projects at the site
• Coordinate site safety activities with project managers
• Monitor safety walks and CAPA closures
• Oversee Safe Harm/Zero Harm initiatives and safety programs
• Escalate unsafe conditions and stop work when required
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis
