Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Construction Safety Manager to lead field safety on HVAC and mechanical construction activities in Franklin Furnace, OH. The role involves working with project management, superintendents, and craft personnel to ensure safe work execution and compliance with OSHA requirements.

The successful candidate will conduct safety observations, support job hazard analyses, and maintain safety records while reinforcing best practices on site.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Experience in mechanical construction safety management.
• Experience in HVAC/mechanical construction safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day field safety oversight for HVAC and mechanical construction activities.
• Work directly with project management, superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel to support safe work execution.
• Conduct routine field safety observations and identify unsafe conditions or work practices.
• Support pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and daily safety activities.
• Monitor mechanical installation activities, equipment setting, material handling, and elevated work.
• Support compliance with site safety requirements and applicable OSHA requirements.
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective-action follow-up.
• Maintain safety documentation and records required for project activities.
• Reinforce safe work practices while maintaining a visible presence in active work areas.
