Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee HVAC construction safety at a new Purina manufacturing site in Batavia, OH. The role provides hands-on safety oversight for field operations and ensures compliance with OSHA standards on a 2‑month 1099 contract.

Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, leading JHAs and toolbox talks, managing incident investigations, and promoting safe work practices among field personnel on a dynamic construction site.

Qualifications

• Must have OSHA 500 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• 10+ years of construction safety experience required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC construction activities and safety.
• Experience conducting JHAs, toolbox talks, and site safety inspections preferred.
• Incident investigation experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily safety compliance for HVAC construction activities.
• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and identify hazards.
• Support Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks.
• Monitor field activities for OSHA and site safety compliance.
• Collaborate with field personnel to address unsafe conditions.
• Support incident investigations and documentation as needed.
• Assist with daily site safety operations and communication.
• Promote consistent safe work practices across the project.
