Jobot is seeking a Safety Coordinator for Colorado-based electrical construction projects, traveling statewide to support field crews with safety training and compliance. You will conduct briefings, audits, investigations, and post-incident follow-ups, ensuring DOT and OSHA requirements are met and safety plans are implemented.

The role requires extensive travel, a safety-oriented mindset, and ability to work outdoors in varied conditions.

Formación

• Associate degree in OSH or similar required.
• 2+ years supporting safety programs in transmission or electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and utility safety regulations.
• Experience leading group training and working in the field.
• Willingness to travel extensively with overnight stays.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct morning safety briefings and deliver project-specific training.
• Promote Zero Accident philosophy and intervene in unsafe practices.
• Perform field audits and develop corrective actions.
• Investigate near-misses, equipment damage, and incidents.
• Assist with post-injury management and DOT drug screenings.
• Administer safety orientations and maintain documentation.
• Participate in site safety committees and customer safety meetings.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
