Job summary

National Electrical Engineering Consultants LLC (NEEC) is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement and monitor health and safety programs across active project sites. You will work with field teams, project managers, and contractors to ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations while promoting a proactive safety culture.

This role entails site inspections, incident investigations, and delivering safety training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience in construction, utilities, substations, or renewable energy projects.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Strong observational, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel extensively and work in active construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement NEEC's safety policies and procedures across projects.
• Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; identify unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training; promote safety awareness.
• Assist in incident investigations, document findings, and support corrective action plans.
• Maintain accurate safety records and support safety audits and compliance documentation.
